Assoc. Prof. Dr. Murat Tarhan is an academic and pioneer specialising in sustainability, green transformation and educational technologies. In addition to his academic career, he has pioneered the strengthening of career development, entrepreneurial competencies and employment skills of young people through his Career Centre Directorate and Career, Quality, Employment and Entrepreneurship Schools Coordinatorships.

It has made significant contributions on a regional and national scale with the managerial role it has assumed in the Western Black Sea Career Fairs (BATIKAF) organised under the coordination of the Presidential Human Resources Office. BATIKAF’22 was the first large-scale career fair of the region, organised in cooperation with 16 universities. BATIKAF’24 was organised in cooperation with 19 universities and became one of the most comprehensive regional career fairs in Turkey with over 40,000 participants and the participation of more than 450 national and international companies.

With the projects and administrative duties he has carried out so far, Tarhan stands out not only in the academic world, but also as an academician who builds bridges between the business world, public institutions and the entrepreneurship ecosystem. In addition, he contributes to the dissemination of entrepreneurship culture and regional development with his duties as the Founding Coordinator of Bolu Techno-Entrepreneurship Academy, Bolu Women Entrepreneurship Academy and Bolu Entrepreneurship Academy. In 2020, she contributed to entrepreneurship education on a national scale by leading the team that developed the “Interdisciplinary Entrepreneurship Education Programme (DAGEP)” module at the Ministry of National Education, Board of Education and Board of Education. Its vision is built on preparing young people and institutions for the future on the axis of sustainability, innovation and competitiveness.

Rıdvan Gençer is a PhD candidate at Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University, Department of Social Studies Education, focusing on digital humanities, media literacy, folk culture and history education. She completed her undergraduate education at Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University Social Studies Teacher Education programme and her master's degree at Sakarya University Social Studies Education programme. Since 2024, she has been a Visiting Fellow at Western Sydney University School of Humanities and Communication Arts, where she has been working on projects on digital humanities pedagogy, open science practices and crowdsourced knowledge production.

His academic activities are shaped on the basis of an interdisciplinary approach and he makes original contributions especially in the fields of digital representation of local cultural heritage and digital historiography. Gençer, who has carried out long-term field and archive studies under the roof of Bolu Folk Culture Research and Application Centre (BAMER), has presented papers in many symposiums and workshops at national and international level, and published articles and book chapters. His research in Australia with the support of TUBITAK 2214-A Overseas Doctoral Research Fellowship aims to bring together the theoretical foundations and pedagogical practices of digital humanities; in this context, he contributes to the development of open science and digital pedagogy.

She has developed herself by taking trainings on effective public speaking, diction, body language and communication. She has gained experience in building strong bonds with people and leading in communities, and has voluntarily undertaken managerial duties in various non-governmental organisations and aimed to make a difference in social projects.

As a nature-friendly and environmentally conscious individual, he is passionate about sustainable agriculture and conservation of natural resources. He carries out solution-oriented studies for the future of agriculture in the field of Agricultural Engineering at Izzet Baysal University; develops his knowledge and skills both at academic and practical level.

With his effective communication competences, body language mastery and leadership potential; he is able to motivate people, direct them towards common goals and make a difference in the projects he carries out.
